Sometimes, the unexpected destination presents itself as opportunity. In early fall 2024, I seized one such opportunity, driving the width of Nebraska. I sought endless landscapes, dramatic rock formations, small town architectural artifacts, American history and a touch of ‘About Schmidt’ film site history. Here’s what I saw.
